Japanese candy and a vinyl floor
Hi Everyone! I hope you are all having a nice Thursday. It's a rainy day here with some sick kiddos and I'm hoping everyone is all well for the fun weekend we have planned ahead. Memorial Day weekend already! Can you believe it? For some reason, I feel like it really snuck up fast this year. The beaches will be open THIS WEEKEND!

We had our last day of co-op on Friday! This co-op was truly blessed from start to finish. God definitely had His hand in it all. We couldn't have done it without Him.
All about Mexico!
Mexican Folk Art
Pinatas!
We also had a taco bar and we had the kids do the cooking!
Preschool class
The kids made hand-printed shirts for the Kindergarten grads to wear on performance night
Gardening class.
Some of the teens making their video
We also had Shades of Orange Art Studio come to the co-op and teach the kids a class
After co-op, we celebrated with a trip to Zems
and a stop in the candy store
Liam's first teeball game!
Starting our garden!
Some randomness from the past week
Josh and I have an ongoing thing where we call every night date night. We always do the same thing. ...Eat food and watch a movie or play a video game. We will talk during the day and say things like, "what candy should we get for date night?" Seriously though, you give an ordinary night a name like "date night" and suddenly it does feel extra special. We aren't just watching a movie or playing video games and eating... It's a date night in, ok? Every day.
A video game we started playing a couple days ago and should probably be able to finish tonight. It's called Layers of Fear and it's about an Artist who has a haunted house. SO SPOOKY!!! But a lot of fun.
Japanese candy I bought for the teens in the creative writing group at co-op! Finally came after over a month of waiting. Thank you, Japan.
One way to lay on a human.
We've had the coolest woodpecker visiting the tree stump in our yard lately!
Cracked me up.
Someone really likes HULK in our house
I put new vinyl flooring in the bathroom yesterday. We've had it for a while and it's just been sitting in our room for 2 to 3 years. I went to go write up my game plan for next years schooling and got completely lost in redoing the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. Because that's the way I do things.
We started our Summer Bucket List! I can't wait!
That's it for today! I hope you all have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!
Much love,
Jess
