in January
Hi Everyone! Happy Friday!
You know? ....I never minded January. I know this is a tough thing to say on a day where the wind chill has reached the negatives. ...But I can't help but feel content in this month. "The world has tucked her children in, until Spring." .....And it certainly feels that way, doesn't it? At times, the world is so quiet outside, you can hear the snowflakes fall down to rest on your shoulders.
I think the quiet can be good for the soul sometimes. I know it is for me.

Shoofly pie is DELICIOUS! It is definitely one I'd add into our dessert rotation!
