Frogs and Cookies

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing well.

It's such a surreal time right now, isn't it?

As we were driving around on Saturday, I could see so much change from a typical weekend drive.

-Sidewalks with masked walkers, empty parking lots and small town shops with the words, "WE MISS YOU" written all over the windows. My heart felt sad. ...Though I know this won't be forever.

It's all so sudden and different.

And though we are safe at home, it's hard to ignore the heaviness of those who are hurting right now- all around the world.

This is not the end of good things; but the beginning of a new season of so many things made better. Better days are coming. We pray that the next season will bring peace, good health and stability to those struggling through. That any worries are hushed and the future would begin to look brighter than it ever was before. For everyone.

Eli has been busy doing what he does best:

Continued baking of all the things.

Sometimes Yuki reminds me of a baby Kangaroo!

More church at home. For the memory.

Some fun pirate art!

Another homeschool day

.....Boots isn't quite so sure about us being home ALL the time now......

We even catch her checking out the window when we are all outside! ....Almost as if she is "making sure" we are all certainly out there.

What time is it Mr. Fox?!

Last night going to bed as a 5 year old!

On Christmas Eve, Eli's Spiderman glove broke and he was really upset. That night, he wrote a letter to Santa asking if he could bring it back to the north pole and fix it for him. On his birthday, he woke up to his Spiderman glove - All fixed and good as new! Brought back to him by Rosie. ;)

  Eli's 6th Birthday!

I really love their personalities.

That night, Josh and I ordered a free trial of SLING tv. ....And it was crazy to see the amount of commercials talking about Covid-19 and slowing the spread as well. I have been taking little snapshots of such things lately as it is crazy we are living through such a moment in history. One day, our kids will look back with much, "remember when?!"

Palm Sunday!

 Easter week :)

Yuki practicing social distancing...

The kids have all completed their Grammar books! While we will continue with review, it's exciting to see how much they have accomplished. We've had many hours and days put into these....

Lunch time

The kids have made themselves a cool fort...

It is true... we celebrated the release of the new Trolls movie!

Watching Babe the night before Easter is a tradition... I don't know why it is... but it is!

This year, I bought special prizes for the egg hunt. A lot of the eggs had tickets inside for a prize!

I did a recreation of the Fajita taco bowl we love from La Cocina for dinner one night. Definitely going to have to make again!

I love listening in on the church Zoom meetings. Another memory from this time.

 Josie and Yuki!

We are so grateful for this little dog.

Chuck e cheese has been selling $5 large pizzas to bring home- So we surprised the kids with a pizza party for lunch!

Josie's sweet little room.

I don't even know why I took a picture of this.... but I have to say... I gave them a big thumbs up. Josh says - thumbs down.

With that! I am done! I am thinking of you all and I love you!
