I am officially nine months pregnant.
This is our 3rd child in 4 years and we both continue swimming through this life-altering, blissful, challenging, empowering journey.
....Trying like heck to be our best parenting selves we can possibly be.
It’s complicated and wild, uncharted territory. There aren’t maps or instructions or even previous experiences that we can call on. Parenthood is its own journey, unique to the set of sweaty, determined individuals who choose that path. We sort it out as we go, bump along knowing nothing, learning everything. Or at least learning enough to get to the next phase of knowing nothing.
I’ve never felt more humble, raw and honest in all my life.

The snow continues to come and go.
Our new car. Such a blessing. Just in time.
It's hard to believe, the promise of spring is right around the corner.
We are so looking forward to our garden this year.
I dream of little cloth diapers blowing softly on the line as the kids help us plant tiny seeds in the small bit of earth we're able to call our own.
The car seat is in the car (thanks to my wonderful friends for such a wonderful gift) and our hospital bags are packed.
We very much enjoyed playing with the awesome box the car seat was shipped in too.
Finally - I want to document some favorite things of the kids as we go along.
A couple of Josie's favorite things at the moment -
Her sweet little worn out princess butterfly shoes she received as a 2nd birthday gift last August from Moo.
Pink. ...ANYTHING.
Also, she is oddly quite fond and obsessed with page 111 in her Beginners Bible.
"Mommy! THE GUY WITH THE BOO BOO'S!"
Ashton must have his trusty flash light with him every night.
and his Transformers go with us... every where.
I am preparing to tuck my camera safely in my hospital bag... just so it won't be left behind.
This may be my last post before Liam's arrival.
Sitting on top of the unbalanced, shaky washing machine is one of our favorite past times too.
