Me. ...a Mom. It's every thing I have ever dreamed of. ...but, no. ...it's better. I feel so eternally grateful God saw us fit to raise Ashton and Josie. Our two beautifully spirited children who bring our hearts much joy.

...Chosen for us.

We spent our Mother's day afternoon at Sullivan park with our cousins, Ben and Matthew. We soaked up the sun and splashed in the water. We shared a picnic and we fished.

It was perfect.

I loved how Ben was entirely content with his little rubber luer that bobbed at the end of his pole. He'd shout, "I got one!" Every few minutes.

And Ashton with much patience sat there as he waited to catch the fish we had all been telling them about. I have never seen my boy so patient.

...and sweet Josie. Well. She might not be a little fishergirl just yet :)

It was more fun watching them fish then it is to fish.

In the midst of all of this, Matthew just sat back and took it all in.

The kids so enjoyed playing in the creek.

We had more water in our boots then ever before.

and Uncle Jimmy caught a fish afterall. hehe.

We celebrated "Moo's" Mother's day on Saturday. An early afternoon spent eating tacos and gardening.

Ah, dirt.

The kids collected worms and watered the flowers.

Spring is in full bloom here and the April showers seem to have finally eased.

We've been spending many afternoons at local parks.

and we've been staying up later then ever. just to go for one last walk, one last slide and one last swing.

Spring.

Please join me in singing this.

Peace to all <3
Jessie
