Right now

Josie enjoys a good game of, "lets wash the dishes!" ...It takes her about an hour and a pool of water on the floor until she is finished, but it is a game after all.

The best pretzel recipe I have ever tried - Click! - They taste JUST like the pretzels you'd buy at the mall.
Some notes I used from the comments on the website
- Add 1 tbs of sugar to the melted butter for the sweet butter flavor.
- Grease pan and cover completely with salt before you put the pretzels on.

Seriously, heaven.

Turning the living room into a spider web.

Super daddy. So glad we have a special day to celebrate him on Sunday!

One morning, Ashton accidentally hurt one of Josie's toes when he backed up in a chair. He felt so bad, he gave her a couple blankets and a cup of water as a special, "I'm sorry."  I love his heart.

Someone has learned how to climb up on top of the table. He continues to grow quicker at climbing up there every time we turn our backs. He also enjoys pushing the air conditioner's on/off button.

Makeshift baby gate to keep him out of the kitchen now. Sorry, Liam.

The rain seems to be a common trend going on around the world lately, no? I hear a lot of us are a little damp these days.

Yes, that is a big pile of dirt. Yes, she was sliding down it.

To make the dirt squeamish feel better, they did come inside and take a nice hot bath afterward. The infamous sparkly dress she was wearing, however, did not make it. R.i.p. pink sparkly dress

Something cozy about making dinner as the rain slides down the window outside.

And drinking hot coffee in the morning as you watch the puddles rise. (Actually, this was taken on the only sunny morning we've had all week. ...but you get the idea)

Watching cartoons close together on the couch.

Bridge building. I guess we all may need one eventually if this rain doesn't stop. hehe.

Loving friends who are like family.

Seeing beauty, love and humor in the every day.

Evidence of some awesome friends visiting, awesome kids with food in their bellies and one heck of a good pizza that daddy made for dinner.

Rain, rain you don't have to go away, I don't mind either way. I'm blessed to be alive today. So rain, rain you can stay.

xoxo, Jessie
